winter feeling

A lovely picture! If I saw this in a store, I'd buy it without second thought.

Vision:
A lovely image showing just how beautiful snow can be. The image shows the snow as beautiful, a true feeling of winter, though I'm not sure what you're trying to express through it.

Originality:
I almost gave this image a 3 for originality because I've seen many snow images similar to this around multiple places, but I decided to give this a four because not many have such a nice fade and the sparkles in it. The texture of the snow also made me bump the score up to a 4 because I've never seen texture like that in snow. It's nice.

Technique:
This image is beautiful. The white and blue tones to the image, the sparkles throwing just an extra splash of colour in. The way the image focuses on the little clumps of snow in the center then fades out so the rest of the image is out of focus is wonderful. Even if the image is simple, the way it is presented provides a lovely way to look at the snow.

Impact:
This image makes me love winter all the more. It's like going years without chocolate, then biting into one of those raspberry (or whatever) filled truffle. It's just a divine image. After seeing this image, I glanced outside my window and was disappointed to see the spring sunshine shining on the green grass.
