what holds us together

I had this idea in my head, and eventually my journal, for the past one and a half years. It came back so many times, but I never knew who to photograph for it next to Seb. And then Noukka asked me if she could come visit me at the beginning of may and I knew this was the perfect match and the right time. So on the first day when she was here we bought a white t-shirt, drew birds on it, walked up that hill together with Seb, then drew the same birds on his chest and took lots of photos. The moment I saw them on my computer screen I knew it was worth the wait. These must be some of my favourites I've ever taken and I'm so thankful I had two wonderful models who understood what I wanted from the beginning. (:
