Thank you! I do like it too, and I really enjoy shooting into the sun, just not as much as in this photo. That is for the simple reason that it was so much more beautiful in real life, and I feel like I kind of ruined the moment by letting too much sun into my camera. Just a personal thought though, I'm glad you like it!
I love that this looks a bit fuzzy, and the sun is perfectly positioned. It leaves it somewhat mysterious, and I think that makes it easier for the viewer to put more of their thoughts and emotions into the image.
I am really sorry for the long overdue reply! But thank you so much for taking the time to comment back then — and I love it when people are able to combine what I show them with some part of their own lives.
Hey there, Mike! I am currently going through my piled up comments that I never really had much time for during the past one and a half years, and I have discovered quite a few from you. I just wanted to say thank you that you stop by my photos from time to time, and often leave some words, too. That really means a lot to me even though it always takes me such a long time to reply! And thank you for what you said about the photo
No worries, Miss Rona. We all have lives and can't get back to everyone at moment's notice. I know lots of people comment! I enjoy your photographs, so I try to take a few minutes out of the day to actually articulate the appreciation of nicely composed photos and lovely scenery. It's this sort of connection to someone's life passion that I love about the photo and film and ART industry in general. Keep it all up - and I will wait for the great stuff that you love to create.
