a little autumn moment

Three years ago I ran up this path leading into the forest every other day, admiring the most wonderful autumn colours and feeling so very free and alive. Over the years it has gotten harder to motivate myself to go running, until eventually I quit completely. I am finally getting back into doing sports regularly again, but lately, this path has become a place to linger rather than something that I just pass on my way. Sometimes I really miss the person I was back then, and the many things I did on my own. But this boy right here has taken a lot of my insecurities and given me so many moments together that I am incredibly thankful for, and as much as I have changed, I wouldn't want things any other way.
